Intention To Sustain Your Passions

Dear Friend,

Have you lost the passion you once had for the things you do in your business?

For instance, you once had a passion for baking, but becoming a baker and business owner, your passion quickly diluted into the stale monotony of everyday work -life hustle?

When you first started your business, you thought, “I love this so much, I should do it for the rest of my life, make it my business, and I’ll be extremely happy!”

And that was once true, or is still true today.

But, how can you sustain your passionate work without wavering from your initial vision?

I can remember a time when my passion for capturing stories through photography fizzled out.

My systems weren’t really setting me up for success, which is what diluted my passion.

I took any and all jobs I could in 2016-2017 having been my first few months & year completely self-employed.

I didn’t want to fail. I didn’t want to run out of money. And I didn’t want to look like I wasn’t successful.

I was passionate about the work I was doing, but the way I ran myself and business into a spiraling hole of stress, overwhelm, and trading dollar for hour made me question if this was for me.

Looking back on it, I am still so passionate about capturing families, couples, and businesses today as I once was. I just have a much more supportive business that honors my passions, not relies on them until the well is sucked dry.

Passion burns deep inside of us to help us do the incredible work that we do.

When we create a system to support our passions instead of deplete them, we are running & leading our small businesses into spaces and potential opportunities that allow us to flourish.
