Intention to Strengthen & Streamline Your Core Offerings
When someone asks me what I do for work, I often laugh and say,
"A little bit of this, a little bit of that."
And truthfully—I feel good about that. I love all the things I do.
But last month at CEO Days, I had a big realization:
Even though I’m doing a lot… I wasn’t always doing the right things.
I was spending so much of my time doing the lowest-profit tasks—because they were easy, they were fun, they were familiar. And meanwhile, my highest-impact work was being pushed to the bottom of the list.
Sound familiar?
I looked at my week and saw the reality:
My marketing partnership clients take the bulk of my time
Then comes MKTG Group work, photography, and finally
Sourdough classes, Arbonne, and CEO Days
It feels like a lot, but when I zoomed out and viewed each one as its own client—each needing clear marketing and structure—I saw an opportunity. This isn’t about quitting everything, it’s about funneling it all properly and tightening up.
And that’s what this week is all about.
Let’s make this a real business audit. Not just a planning session—this is about doing. Quickly. With clarity.
lets check in
✔️ Define and refine your core offerings.
✔️ Assess how each service fits your brand and goals.
✔️ Remove services that don’t align or drive profit.
This is the stuff we say we’ll get around to but rarely do. Until now.
Because the problem with working on your business is that we usually do what’s interesting, what we’re naturally good at… and we avoid the hard stuff. The real stuff. Like sunsetting offers that no longer serve us. Or delegating to a VA. Or creating a cleaner structure for how people buy from us.
But that’s what this quarter is for.
We’re in a season of profitability—and profitability requires pruning.
